Gizmo has no native export feature yet. Here's the workaround for getting your cards into Anki anyway.

Gizmo does not currently offer an export function, to Anki or anywhere else. If you've built flashcards in Gizmo and want Anki's spaced repetition scheduling, the only reliable method is to manually copy your terms and definitions into a spreadsheet, save it as a CSV, and import that into Anki with the first column mapped to Front and the second to Back.
Gizmo is a newer entrant in the flashcard app space, and export tooling is often one of the last features built once a platform prioritizes growth. As of mid-2026 there's no export option in Gizmo's set menu, so getting content out means copying it by hand rather than downloading a file.
Open your set in Gizmo
Use whichever view shows the most cards at once, so you can copy term/definition pairs with the fewest clicks.
Paste into a spreadsheet
Open Google Sheets or Excel. Column A gets the term, Column B gets the definition, one row per card.
Save as CSV (UTF-8)
File → Download → Comma-separated values in Sheets, or Save As → CSV UTF-8 in Excel, so accented characters and special symbols survive the import.
Import into Anki
File → Import, select the CSV, map Field 1 to Front and Field 2 to Back, choose Basic or Cloze, pick your deck, and click Import.
Faster alternative if you have the source material
If your Gizmo cards came from your own notes or a textbook, regenerating them from that source with an AI tool avoids the manual copy step entirely and can export directly to a .apkg file ready for Anki.
