Charlie is the founder and developer of StudyCards AI, which he built and runs as a solo founder. He has a first-class degree in Computer Science from the University of Bath, where he used Anki extensively for his own studying, and is a founding engineer at DitchCarbon. He has also tutored students.
He writes the guides on this blog about Anki, spaced repetition, active recall, and using AI to study. They draw on his own use of Anki, on feedback from StudyCards AI users that shapes how the product changes, and sometimes on the product's own usage data. We Analyzed 18,000 Flashcard Reviews, for example, is based on aggregate review data from the StudyCards AI database.
